IN2CRICKET - MILO
The cost of the program will be $50 this season. This is the fee charged by Cricket Victoria to cover the cost of administration, giveaways and insurance. It is the minimum fee that the club is permitted to charge, and is the only cost to be paid on commencement of the program. A letter will follow to advise the starting date.

Insurance

The club carries insurance covering injuries to players. Details of the policy and benefits are in the player handbook provided on Registration Day. However, members should be aware that the club cannot take responsibility for gaps between the cost of medical services and the benefits provided. Details of the insurance cover are provided in the Handbook for Parents/Guardians, Players, Coaches and Managers.
For any enquiries, please contact Don Potter on 9432 1925.

Junior Committee Invitation

Like all volunteer organizations, Riverside relies heavily on the work of its committees, both senior and junior. With a number of members retiring over the last couple of years, several vacancies have opened up on the junior committee.

We are also seeking help with the management of the canteen and weekly volunteers to help staff the canteen on a Friday night.

Without its junior committee, the club would not be able to provide cricket for more than 150 young players from the local community, so if you have a small amount of time available and would like to become involved, please contact Don Potter on 9432 1925.

All families are requested to help in the many areas that are needed to run a successful game day. These include canteen, scoring, setup and packing up of grounds, cooking BBQ's and generally helping when requested.

Coach and Team Managers Invitation

We are currently seeking coach's interest for all age groups. With the high workload on coaches we are requesting each team appoint a Team Manager who will be the link between Age Group Co-Ordinators and the committee. If you would like to become involved please contact your age co-ordinator.

Uniform requirements

The uniform for competition teams is white long pants, a white shirt, predominantly white runners and a hat (either a white, broad brimmed hat, or the club cap). Players are required to provide batting gloves, a protector and a thigh pad (if they choose to wear one). All other equipment, including helmets, is provided by the club. Riverside is part of Rebel Sport Greensborough's MVP Program. Just buy your cricket gear from Rebel Greesborough and tell them that you are from Riverside and not only will you get a 5% discount, but Rebel will donate 5% of the purchase price to the club.

Evening training will commence at the following times:
Under 16 Wednesday, 30th September at 5.00 pm till 6.30 pm
Under 14 Wednesday, 30th September at 5.00 pm till 6.30 pm
Under 12 Monday, 28th September at 5.00 pm till 6.15 pm

Under 12 Dev & Mod Play Friday Nights 5.00pm to 8.00pm (first 2 Rounds are generally played on a Sunday morning 8.45am to 11.45am)
