TARGET 40 - UPDATE
What is Target 40?
Plans - Upper Level, Lower Level
At present, the planned renovation of the clubrooms has been quoted at approximately $1.1 million. Contributions totalling $700,000 have been pledged by the state government, Banyule council, and the Australian Football League. This leaves a shortfall of $400,000 to be funded jointly by the Riverside Cricket Club and St Marys Junior Football Club.
Based on the above numbers, the club's current cash reserves, and the amount of money we are able to borrow without taking any unnecessary risks, the committee has estimated that we will require another $40,000 to ensure this project is a success.
Target 40 is the name of our fundraising campaign to raise this money, and it requires the assistance of EVERYONE in the Riverside community.
How can I help?
We have launched the "buy a brick" campaign, which is the cornerstone of our fundraising effort. For a donation of $250, $500 or $1,000 a plaque in the new clubrooms will permanently recognise your contribution to the project. For more information regarding ths please talk to our treasurer Marty Anderson, or e-mail the club ( riverside@club.cricketvictoria.com.au) for a pledge form.
